Jacopo Gelmetti 2018

Jacopo started skiing many years ago. Since 2004 and until 2014 he competed in alpine skiing at the regional level (FIS Trentino) and by the end of 2014 and until mid-2016 at the national level for FIS points (GS 80.66).

It was only in november 2016 that Jacopo started practicing freestyle skiing and completely fell in love with it. That same season he was able to achieve the 3rd place at the General Annual Ranking of Italian FreeSki Tour.

By the end of 2016, Jacopo contacted us because he wanted to continue his freestyle career while studying in an american college and so we started a specific research for his academic and athletic profile. After contacting most of the college programs offering any kind of skiing opportunity, we found College of Idaho, a small private university in Caldwell, Idaho, to be a very good fit for Jacopo's profile: the school offered him an athletic and academic scholarship that will allow him to continue skiing while studying Business Administration in the USA.
